Czechoslovak maneuvers 1933 - 1938

Main theme of the thesis is the Czechoslovak Maneuvers in 1936. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter focuses on the creation of Czechoslovak army, the perion 1918-1932. The second chapter targets the reorganization of army in the period 1932-1936. The Third chapter is dedicated to the issue of armed forces in the period of the Austrian emperor.The fourth chapter is focused on the Czechoslovak Maneuvres in 1936 and research preparations, course, and made knowleges from the great interwar's maneuvres of Czechoslovak army. The fifth chapter closes arbitration service in the maneuvres. The sixth chapter deals with foreign's delegations on maneuvers and finally the seventh chapter is devoted to attitude and reakcions of czechoslovak's press and mankind.

Human Protection in Emergencies as a Theme for Vocational School Students

TITLE: Human Protection in Emergencies as a part of Health Education AUTHOR: Iva Metelková DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Eva Marádová, CSc. ABSTRACT Human Protection in Emergency (HPE) is the subject of this theoretical research thesis. The theoretical part focuses on a set of human protection in emergency and military training in the broader historical context but also legislative context. Space is devoted to the unambiguous definition of related terms. Furthermore the course curriculum reform with emphasis on the level of secondary vocational education. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of the research that was conducted among the students of first and second years of nonscience oriented secondary vocational schools. Data for the research was obtained by questionnaire survey and analyzed the statistical method. The work also includes a draft concept for the implementation of the teaching of human protection in emergencies. The objective of this proposal is to ensure access to information concerning the HPE for students but also for teachers and that contribute to the formation of desirable patterns of behavior for participation in the incident. The use of active military back up troops during exceptional events

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the usefulness of active armed forces backups to solve various types of extraordinary events. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals mainly with the definition of Active backups of the Army of the Czech Republic and their history, which is important for understanding the needs of the backup forces of the armed forces. Furthermore, in this section are presented units of active reserves, which the Czech army has. The theoretical part also deals with the valid legislation, in which the status of advance payments is adjusted and especially the conditions of entry and very important training, without which it would not be possible to deploy them in emergency situations. The practical part is focused on the training of selected company active reserves, which should participate in the deployment in an emergency. Four unstructured interviews with members of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and a member of the Active Advances were made for the best understanding of active reserve issues. In order to achieve the goal, the theory and findings of these interviews were compared. The work can be used as study material or as a resource for military units to which the Active Advance Units are assigned and which allocate forces and resources for emergency assistance. As has been found in the comparison, Active advances are currently not mainly due to poor legislation applicable to dealing with emergencies, with the exception of events that would be long-term in the order of several months.
